How to Get Here

By air: Berjaya Air operate from KL to Tekek, the capital of Tioman. From there catch a water taxi or one of the regular ferries to Salang.

By bus: from Singapore or KL to Mersing.

There are regular speed boats and ferries from Mersing to Salang.

There is a ferry to the island from Tanjung Gemok, but they do not come direct to Salang on a regular basis.

If you travel by bus from KL make sure you get dropped at the jetty. Some drivers drop you at the roundabout in town, and you will get "sold" to by the travel agent there!
